Shawn Chaisson
President
As President of First Mutual Properties, Shawn oversees all operational activities for the company. Shawn has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry and has an extensive background in a wide variety of construction types including ICF construction and pre-engineered steel buildings.
Shawn has been expanding First Mutual Properties' real estate portfolio through acquiring and developing commercial properties with a focus on custom-built leased facilities.
Ben Chaisson DULE, CCIM, ASC
Executive Vice-President
As Executive Vice-President for First Mutual Properties, Ben oversees the operations and expansion of First Mutual Properties through the evaluation of potential acquisition and development opportunities. Ben has been working in the Real Estate industry for over 10 years and has a Diploma of Urban Land Economics from UBC with a specialization in development and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Ben is proficient in real estate financial software and complex financial modelling of properties.
Greg Morrison oversees property management for First Mutual Properties. Greg focuses on tenant relations and retention while monitoring the day-to-day operations of each property. Greg also manages building and property upgrades that improve overall property performance. Greg is currently working towards a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and a Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designation through BOMI International.

Nicole Chaisson CA, CPA
CFO
Nicole has earned her CA, CPA designation and has completed the In-Depth Tax Program. Nicole specializes in tax compliance, tax planning and tax provisioning. Nicole is proficient in the preparation of financial statements and adjusting journal entries along with budgeting and forecasting. Nicole previously worked as a tax manager for Sobeys and Deloitte LLP.
Seana Palenzuela
Engineer
Seana has been working in Civil and Environmental Engineering since receiving her degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2017. Her specialty is water resources engineering. Seana is also a licensed professional engineer in Florida.
